Gone Walkabout

Hi folks.
I couldn't stand being cooped up in this semi-suburbia any longer. So I went for a walk. I had no idea where I was going, but I started to head off in a vague direction away from civilisation. Sadly, it wasn't easy to shake off. As I walked, I started to think that the path was an odd reflection of my life at the moment: On one side, rolling fields and limitless sky, on the other, foreboding barbed wire fences looming over me. Not the ideal place to be. And I'm not a huge fan of sitting on fences, either. I suppose I'm an everything or nothing sort of person: Give me the big city any day, or untamed countryside the same. Anything in between just seems depressing to me. Weird, huh?
But anyway, after a while I finally broke away from the foreboding fence, and what should I find? A bridge over an old disused railway! Now, I'll confess my railway-loving side has been a bit neglected since I entered adolescence, but the old pathway just looked so...countryside-ish. It's hard to describe. So I took some pictures.

But you'll have to wait until tomorrow for them, as well as the rest of the story, because I appear to be out of time. Also, I'd like you to know that I have made the effort to read Twilight, and it was actually really enjoyable. Not much action, but a good plot. It's nice to read something that sounds like it's actually written by humans, for a change, instead of all this fancy grown-up 'literature'. I'd really like to do a proper review, but with so many other things going on, I think it would be safer to wait until I've finished the series. All day tech rehearsal tomorrow; that'll be fun. Not! Oh well, I'll have New Moon to rattle through.

Oh yeah. And be careful when opening any link that someone sends to you over MSN. There's a virus going round. It's not hard to fix but it's even easier not to get it in the first place. Take caution. Someone out there has a lot to answer for.

Jack
