Ood Curling

Hi folks.
You've gotta love the Ood. They're just...so...Ood-like. Well, duh. But it made me think - The Ood planet is a snowy place, like Hoth. So it must be pretty boring just sitting around there. I mean, OK, there's that cool telepathic singing malarkey, but what about when you're bored of that? What do they do then? Build snowmen? Toboggan? Curling?? Just a thought. There can't be many options though if you have to carry your brain around with you all the time. They should make, like, little pockets in the Ood's robes to put the brain in. There. Problem solved. Defenseless no more. Aaaaaanyway...
Last night I downloaded "Let It Rock", by that Rudolph guy. Yeah, that's his name. 'That Rudolph guy'. But yeah, it's quite funky. In fact, this might even be one of the few times I've actually liked popular music. No doubt I'll get bored of it after a while, but it's not a bad song. In a similar vein, why is "America's Suitehearts" the next FOB single?? They've done way way way better songs than that. My money was on "What a Catch" or "The (shipped) Gold Standard". Let downs. Oh well, they can't be brilliant all the time. Also, 'Da me mas, quiero mas, siempre mas, necesito maaaaaas'. Awesome choonage from LOVG, even though they don't have Amaia any more, I'm sorely tempted to get theirn new album "A Las Cinco en el Astoria". Don't ask me what that translates as; something to do with 5. Which makes sense, cos there's 5 of them. I'm rambling. Next!
Some school mates in my year approached me today about being in a band, so I said yeah, why not. I assume there'll be an audition thing, and then they want to do Knights of Cydonia. It's a start, I guess. Maybe once we become a bit more integrated I can put some of my own material forward. We'll see. I also want to get my hands on sheet music from the new FOB album, but it doesn't seem to have been made available yet. Or at least, Boosey and Hawkes doesn't have it, and they have pretty much everything as far as sheet music goes. This is boring you, I can tell.
Where are Yivvits and MrBubble?!!! Have they dropped off the face of the Galaxies, never to be seen again? Or maybe they just couldn't be bothered to do a Christmas special this year. Shame, I was really looking forward to it. Well, I hope they return to form very soon. Similarly, I worked out today that I might be able to create a podcast using this site. I mean, I sort of have a domain, I guess, and I have an RSS feed, and that's all you need, isn't it? We'll see! Watch this space...
Until then, I'd better crack on with some work. Oh, the joy.

Jack
