Reset

It's 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time I reviewed the past year, as everyone else seems to be doing at the moment. I would have done this yesterday, but with one thing and another I ran out of time. So, let me take you back 365 days...

JANUARY - Blimey, that was still Year 11. Anyway, in this month I discovered the musics of SFG, Paramore and the Veronicas, which have pretty much changed my musical tastes...for the better, of course. Jumper flopped - It had some great ideas, but a rubbish plot. Um...My first taste of Torchwood. Can't say I'll ever prefer it over Doctor Who, but it wasn't bad. And school continued to trundle along, with a vague idea of my next subjects. About time I had a word with Blondie, but I guess that can wait until...

FEBRUARY - Yep, Valentine's day, wasting yet more money on Blondie. Is she worth it? Around this time I make a move to go and see Avril live - my first gig - in May. What else...Nope, that's pretty much it on the February side.

MARCH - I unearth a trio of treasures - Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Boys Like Girls. The ominous Move begins to loom as we find out exactly when it'll happen. At the end of the month, French orals go swimmingly, and I feel confident for the others to come...

APRIL - Right. So Blondie doesn't want to do Avril and doesn't want to hit the Jazz Festival. I feel like I've reached a dead end. Time to reset, find someone else. More Orals, for Spanish and Italian, which I manage to hold together. Other than that, a very quiet period. Easter, mind you. Oh, and Iron Man. Was that April, or...

MAY - OK, a lot happened in May. First of all, we were on Study Leave at last. ploughing my way through exams, I somehow found time to see Iron Man, Indy 4 and Avril in concert, though not with Miss JW, she was 'too busy'. Yivvits and MrBubble provided an escape from everyday life, as did ironing in front of Heroes. No, wait, that comes after...

JUNE - A lot of sitting at home, revising, exercising, and ploughing through exams. Finally, the end came in sight. And...relax.

JULY - My birthday!!!!!!! The iPod Touch has changed my life, as has Heroes. Legacy of the Force concludes, Boba Fett's happy ending still not in sight. Everyone else breaks up, and the Move is on! It's quite an experience, as I haven't had to move house for 12 years, but somehow we managed, so that I can be here now to type this in my new, bigger, not necessarily better house.

AUGUST - After volunteering for a week at a nearby cafe, it was time for a holiday! We headed off to France, Italy and Switzerland to have an awesome time with friends and family. It was great getting out and about by myself and experiencing the great cultures. And the food! Anyway, it couldn't last, because soon it was...

SEPTEMBER - Which saw the start of Sixth Form! All Change! What a great new building we have, and great subjects too! The independence was vast improvement fromthe year before, even if there was a little too much work. I also made a awesome new friend, and I don't know how I'd have coped with the start of the year without her brilliant sense of humour. Rehearsing for Midsummer Night's Dream began, and about this time I began this blog! Anyway, life floated by until...

OCTOBER - What happened in October? Um...I got tickets to see SFG in Cardiff, I did some other stuf...Well, not much really.

NOVEMBER - So, Midsummer Night's Dream went down an absolute blast. I had great fun and loved every minute of it. Can't wait for the next one! Also, I attended the incredible SFG gig, and I'm still waiting for them to make the DVD. I would love to go back an see them again next year, but it's time they did some new material, I think. In this month, I finally found love. I guess that's not bad! But anyway...

DECEMBER - Christmas was quite quiet this year, and, well, I've been over it quite recently, so you know what happens.

So, 2008 is all in the past now. Time to gear up for my next big adventure. are you with me?

Jack
