Everyone Lives!

Howdy y'all.
What a spine-tinglingly brilliant ending to Doctor Who: Forest of the Dead. You gotta love opening the TARDIS door with a click of your fingers. What other TV shows can you do that on, huh? Huh?? And everyone lives...wait, let me do the maths (or just 'math' if you're American)...Yes! That's right. Everyone does live...in a round about way. If it was me, I wouldn't have counted the 'saved' people, but for optimism's sake I suppose you could. Series 5 with Steven Moffat is going to be awesome if it's all like this. And I maintain, I've heard rumours the Daleks are killed off within the first half. I don't know whether to believe that or not, but...
It's gotta have something to do with River Song. I mean, people are still discussing who's going to be the next companion, but surely it can't be anyone other than Alex Kingston? I mean, Moffat wrote her in, so surely it would be down to him to continue her story. And it's easy to see how she could mistake David Tennant for 'her' Doctor (presumably Matt Smith), because they do look similar. And half the series is mapped out already. What was it - The crash of the Byzantium, whole armies turning and running before him, picnic in Asgard (OK, not too sure about the action appeal of that one)...Well, we'll see. At least we'll know what'll happen to her, and him.
So many questions! Like, how did Song get Captain Jack's squareness gun (apparently they are one and the same)? Where did the magic blue book that so closely resembles the TARDIS come from? When does the Doc upgrade his sonic screwdriver? And, perhaps most importantly, WHAT IS THE DOCTOR'S TRUE NAME? He says at the end of FotD, "there's only one time [he] could" tell someone his name. Notice the use of the word could. Is there actually something preventing him? Maybe it's like an emergency thing, if he's on his last regeneration or something, or if the Time Lords came back. I don't know. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later. 'Answers are coming', as Lost followers would say.
Anyway, just chucking those ideas out there. I need a new poll. Hm...
See ya 'round,

Jack
